Does Lumo send my audio to the cloud?
No. All transcription happens on your device. Your audio and text never leave your iPhone. Apple Speech may optionally use Apple's servers with your consent, but the other two engines (Neural Express and Neural Pro) are fully offline.
Do I need an account to use Lumo?
Lumo works without any login or account creation. Just open the app and start transcribing.
What is included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 15 transcriptions per month, up to 30 minutes each, and 10 history records. Upgrade to Lumo Pro for unlimited transcriptions, unlimited history, and export features.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
The Neural engines require a download?
Yes. Neural Express downloads a ~200MB model and Neural Pro downloads a ~3GB model on first use. Apple Speech is built-in and requires no download.

This privacy policy applies to the application Lumo transcriptions ("the App"). Your privacy is our top priority. The App is designed to process audio entirely on your device.
Data Collection
Lumo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All audio processing and transcription happens locally on your device.

Apple Speech Recognition
When using the Apple Speech engine, audio may be processed by Apple's speech recognition services according to Apple's privacy policy. The Neural Express and Neural Pro engines process audio entirely on-device with no network activity.
Subscriptions
Lumo Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple and is not accessible to us.
Third-Party Services
The App uses RevenueCat for subscription management. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data as described in their privacy policy.
